Safety works!

Midera Safety is the number two in Belgium (after Vandeputte Group) in personal protection equipment. It was founded in the beginning of the 1980s and soon emerged as one of the leading players with a strong base in West and East Flanders (Belgium) and Northern France. Since 2005, it has also tackled the Eastern European market from its branches in Poland and Romania.

Midera does not focus only on products; it also has a number of complementary service companies, each of which is geared towards providing specialised solutions, training courses, periodic inspections, additional tests and, where necessary, repairs:

• High & Deep is a fall protection training centre;
• Mitrans provides all sorts of logistical services using a Just-in-Time approach;
• Midera Labeling Service personalises work and image clothing with thermofix logos, self-adhesive or embroidery solutions;
• Midera Optical specialises in eye protection with optical correction and optical lenses;
• Hazmat is a service centre for respiratory protection, portable gas detection and chemical protective clothing. Its activities comprise sales, advice, rental, maintenance and repair;
• Mitra Laundry Service sees to the management and maintenance of safety and work clothing;
• Ear-Protection provides tailor-made specialised ear protection;
• Podologie supplies custom-made safety shoes.

This service offer is often supported by unique software packages such as ‘Wear-IT’ and ‘Midera On-Line’ that guarantee tailor-made total solutions.
